Rosti Automotive are a long established designer and manufacturer of precision components and assemblies for the Automotive Sector.
Rosti Automotive is proud of the rich heritage of its sites, which can be traced back to the advent of modern plastic manufacture in the 1930s. In 2017 Rosti Automotive, was created as a separate standalone business in order to give maximum focus on the demands and quality standards inherent within the automotive sector. The use of technical plastics in the automotive sector has grown rapidly in recent years as manufacturers have recognised not only the design benefits but also facets such as light weighting, recyclability and the potential lower manufacturing cost of plastic components and systems.
Today, Rosti Automotive has 4 modern manufacturing plants equipped with some of the latest automation and moulding technology. Our Injection Moulding Machines span a range from 60 Tonnes to 2700 Tonnes and include Multi shot and the latest cube moulding technologies. Our manufacturing plants are based in Larkhall (Scotland), Pickering and Stamford Bridge (Yorkshire) and Swansea (Wales) and supply products globally. We employ 1750 people.
Four automated paint plants ensure we can achieve high quality paint finishes and accurately match external A surface components of up to 2.4 metres in size. Process Engineering experts alongside computerised jigs enable us to design and operate complex assembly processes in an efficient manner.
A range of metal presses give us the capability to manufacture a range of fittings and bracketry which can be heat treated and/or plated as appropriate for their application.
We are experienced in providing customers with logistics solutions and through close partnerships are able to deliver complex solutions including just in time sequencing.
A new office in Leamington Spa houses our Design and Development team, working closely with engineers from our OEMs including Jaguar Land Rover, Ford, Nissan, Toyota and Volvo. Rosti Automotive also works closely with many of the world’s leading Tier 1 companies, supplying them with parts for their complex assemblies.
