On Tuesday 16th January, Rosti Automotive Pickering welcomed approximately 60 students and lecturers from East Riding College for a site visit.
The students, studying a range of qualifications, including Engineering, Computer Programming and Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, were welcomed to the site by John Pendleton, Managing Director. After a short presentation on the business , there was a Question and Answers session where the exciting opportunities for apprentices and graduates in the Automotive Industry were discussed.
Students, were then given a guided tour of the Pickering site in small groups. During the tour they were able to witness the investment in modern plant and machinery. In particular, the students were interested in the sophisticated robotics and control systems and were introduced to the first Rosti Automotive collaborative robot, which is now on site.
